xplo by Alt9Lab

A visual fashion search engine.

xplo organizes fashion catalogs by what items actually look like. Search by mood, refine by reference, browse by context.

How it works

Three ways to find what you want.

Most exploration is visual. Prose is for entry or fine-tuning, not the main interaction.

01 · Visual discovery

Browse the catalog as a visual surface.

Explore by mood, palette, aesthetic, or any axis. Each lens regroups the items in real time.

02 · Reference search

“Like this, but…”

Pick any item and steer it: less floral, more architectural, hold the silhouette. Edits along named axes.

03 · Mood & context

Ask by occasion, mood, or loose reference.

“Office-to-cocktail for a gallery opening.” The engine returns candidates that fit the context.

Under the hood

An engine that sees what shoppers see.

xplo is built on modern AI: vision models to read product photos, language models to understand requests, and a vocabulary tuned for fashion. The result feels simple: you get what you ask for.

01

It looks at the photos.

Every product is tagged from its image: silhouette, palette, mood, formality, aesthetic. Searches match what’s actually shown, not what the seller typed into the title.

02

It speaks fashion.

xplo works from a vocabulary built for clothing: cuts, fabrics, references, occasions. So “something for a gallery opening” or “less floral, more architectural” lands where you expect.

03

It understands the way you ask.

Type the way you’d describe an outfit to a friend. xplo translates loose prose into precise attributes. If a phrase has two reasonable readings, it shows you both.

04

It keeps learning.

New aesthetics, new references, new ways people describe how clothes feel: xplo’s vocabulary grows with the conversation. Searches that don’t fit today shape what gets added tomorrow.
